Guides

We start with a short tour of the vineyards, there you will learn everything you need to know about the work in the vineyard and about the history of Rametz Castle. Then we visit the Viticulture Museum, in four rooms we see all kinds of old tools that were once essential for the hard work in the vineyard. We then descend into the cellars to learn more about cellar work. The cellar from the 18th century is certainly the most beautiful in the whole Burggrafenamt. Finally, we will taste five of the house's top wines and serve you a sample of our delicious Kaiserspeck, a typical South Tyrolean product. The tour lasts about 90 minutes. Tour groups are also welcome to visit us - on request also on Sundays and holidays. We offer different packages for groups, for example you can have dinner after the wine tour in our restaurant "Am Schloss Rametz" or we serve you a Marendeteller with our delicious Kaiserspeck, cheese, Kaminwurzen and pickles in the tasting room of the castle or under the castle arbor.

On request the tours can be organised in English and French.

This service is only available for groups. If you would like to come with a group, please write to info@rametz.com
